TOURS
Attendees are encouraged to read the below general notes about accessibility, safety protocol, and tour conditions.
Being an outdoor event with a large space to spread out, attendees are not required to wear masks or show proof of COVID vaccination. That said, attendees are more than welcome to wear a mask if they so choose.
There is limited parking available, but TTC (bus and subway) routes bring you within a short walking distance to all cemetery meeting points.
Outdoor tours move at a medium pace, sometimes over paved, rough, grassy, or muddy ground (be sure to wear appropriate footwear).
Tours typically continue in light “atmospheric” / wet weather (dress appropriately).
The guide wears a small headset and speaker to be more easily heard by those present.
While some cemeteries do not expressly forbid dogs, please leave your four-legged friends at home. Dogs are required to stay on paved roads only and some tours bring us through grassy areas. Also, please be considerate that not everyone is comfortable with dogs, including your guide.
Photographs are permitted, but please do not take video of your guide.
